For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), KALOS GENERIS d.o.o. is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

When you submit our contact form, we collect: first name, last name, professional email address, company name, job title or role, company size, service of interest, country, phone number (optional), and your message.

Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and assess how our services may be relevant to your organisation.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (processing your enquiry) and your consent (submitting the form).

2.2 Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect: first name and email address.

Purpose: to send you periodic insights on European industrial transformation, Balkans market developments, and regulatory updates.

Legal basis: your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email.

2.3 Free assessment tools

When you complete one of our online assessment tools (such as the BalkanBridge Readiness Scorecard, ISO 9001 Readiness Check, or AI Readiness Check), we collect: your responses to the assessment questions and, if you choose to share your results, your name, email address, and company name.

Purpose: to provide you with an indicative assessment result and, where appropriate, to follow up with relevant information about our services.

Legal basis: your consent (submitting the assessment).

2.4 Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and referral sources.

No cookies are placed and no analytics data is collected until you have given your consent through our cookie consent banner. You may decline cookies at any time. If you decline, the website remains fully functional.

3. How we use your data

We use the data collected through this website exclusively for the following purposes: responding to your enquiries and providing information about our services, sending newsletter communications you have subscribed to, delivering assessment results you have requested, and analysing website usage to improve our content and user experience.

4. Who has access to your data

Your data is accessible only to the Kalos Generis Advisory team directly involved in responding to your enquiry or managing our communications.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

The following service providers process data on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect your data in accordance with applicable regulations: our analytics provider (anonymised usage data), our email service provider (newsletter distribution), and our workflow automation platform (form submission processing).

Kalos Generis is committed to processing your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our data protection practices, consent mechanisms, retention policies, and data subject rights are designed to meet GDPR standards, regardless of the jurisdiction from which you access this website.

As Kalos Generis is registered in the Republic of Serbia, any disputes arising from the processing of personal data collected through this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
Where our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), they do so under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.

6. How long we keep your data

Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months from the date of your enquiry, unless a business relationship is established, in which case retention follows the applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe.

Assessment tool responses: retained for 12 months.

Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics default settings (14 months).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing), object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request data portability.
